LEGO Robotics Summer Camp

WHAT is lego summer camp?

Team 930's LEGO Robotics Summer Camp encourages young students to get involved in STEM. Through this camp, you will learn how to build and program a LEGO SPIKE robot. You will enhance your critical thinking skills along with teamwork while having fun along the way.

Who can attend?

Our LEGO Summer Camp is open to students entering Grades 4 through 8. Attendance is open to students from any school district, but students from Mukwonago Area School District will be prioritized.

When is it?

The camp runs 5 days a week, Monday - Friday.

Our Camps, will be held August 4th - 8th.

Where is it?

LEGO Summer Camp will be held at Mukwonago High School - Commons. You will enter the High School through the Door 4 entrance. Members of Team 930 will be present to walk your child to the camp.

What can I expect?

You will work on a unique task each day, whether it be programming or building the robot. Each day will include a short break time for a snack. On the final day of the camp, students will then compete with their robots, showcasing all the hard work they have accomplished throughout the week.

The Intermediate Camp teaches younger or newer students how to build and program a robot, using the basics of code. The camp also teaches older or experienced students on how to use and rely on sensors and more advanced coding. The camp overall allows students to work at their own pace, and accomplish tasks at their level.

What does it cost?

The fee to attend is $75 per student.

Do parents need to attend?

Parents do not need to attend. Team 930 adult chaperones will be present each day, along with Team 930 members running the camp. Please reach out to us at team930@gmail.com with any questions. Parents are invited on the last day to see students show off their robots.
